Where to Get Parts

Featured Replies

Where does everybody get their parts from?  Especially during lockdown.

Could try TPS VAG parts outlets or the dealer if not available elsewhere.

Depends what you're looking for too.

Various online shops are still open as are eBay/Amazon.

TPS are only dealing with account holders at the moment.

Looking for a dpf pressure sensor, not keen on ebay amazon for that sort of thing.  Euro car parts don't have it, GSF are a bit vague on the part numbers, Skoda want twice the price of anyone else.

I can see it online from a few places, was just curious who trusts who on parts.

DPF Pressure Sensor - 03G906051A

I recently purchased some mudflaps from a Czech/German company. SKParts - Link

They have more or less everything, prices are usually low but for this part it seems like it could be a bit higher then others.

Mr Auto? I've used 'em here in France but the origin of parts has always been germany!

They recently had 25% off!!

Interesting.

I originally had the part down as 51A but now I think it's more likely to be 51B.   076 906 51b.

Original part is marked   FAE 16109 E11, which as far as I can tell translates to the B variant.

I will check out Mr Auto, cheers.

Hi TbirdX. Once you have your sensor fitted, I believe you should perform an adaptation for it using VCDS or similar BEFORE starting the engine to initialise it correctly. Probably an explanation on the Ross-Tech web site somewhere. Apologies if you knew this already, but I thought it might be useful info. for you.

Trevor,

thanks for that, yes I was aware, I have a PM out to a member with VCDS but may well just buy it and do it myself, it's a bit hefty pricewise for one sensor but we'll see.

🙂
