DPF regens at 90-100km

I noticed that my O3 VRS (CUPA engine) regens frequently lately. After a 110 km motorway drive it showd in VAGDPF that the filter was at 10 grams soot load but I felt that at 120km the regen kicked in so I looked again and it was 23 grams of soot this time. So in 10 km I gained 13 grams of soot.

I tried to replicate the problem but this time I monitored with OBDeleven calculated and measured soot load and to my surprise the measuread load increased rapidly to 23 grams (it was around 9 grams calculated) and then it kicked in another regen.

Engine and transmission is error free.

 

Car has no issues/no limp mode.

Can a sensor malfunctioning trigger this?
