Sat nav card

Featured Replies

Hi,

bought 2016 Octavia vrs with no sat nav card, can someone advise which card I need as there are so many different ones ebay
thanks

Does your sat nav work with no card? If it does you have the Columbus unit and just need a 32gb SD card or flash drive and download the update maps from the Skoda update portal.

If you have the Amundsen unit, this requires a Skoda navigation card and hopefully someone will come along with info on what card you need.

There are very helpful people who will, I am sure, be along in a while to give you chapter and verse.  In the meantime if you wish to push on yourself,  there are a large number of past threads on this subject. The search function at the top of the page is a bit clunky but it gets there in the end.

I have a card which will be suitable for you, updated with the latest current version of maps. Cost is £20 posted.

Use the update portal, enter your VIN number, download and install.

Simple.

You have a Superb 2012, and you've posted in the Octavia 2013> forum. The topic here is not relevant to your question.

Hi

I did try that but as its a 2012 model this is the message I get.

We're sorry, but the navigation device on your vehicle does not support online updates from websites. It is necessary to order an SD card with updated map data via ŠKODA Genuine Accessories.

thanks

newbie to the forum so sorry for posting in the wrong area.

I'll post in the Superb area
