Bonnet to bumper shut line

This may seem a strange question but can anyone verify for me that the shut line gap between the bottom of the grille and front bumper should be even right across ? 

I have an an issue with insurers after an accident repair where the bonnet acquired a small crease in the curved surface near the top of the grille and the grille/bonnet shut line narrows at the centre suggesting to me that the bonnet is in fact distorted and should be replaced by the other drivers insurance (she reversed into me at quite hard - elderly driver 😖😫) 

In effect they took 5 days to paint a bumper and make up (but forget to fit) a new front number plate. Next time I go though my own insurers... even with having to lay out the excess then reclaim it.
