Burnt rubber smell.it comes and goes.i rang dealer a week after they fitted and they said its normal and it would go away.i drove 1000 kil now and its stall comes and goes.im a very light driver so cant understand why i gettn smell.

No, I had a new clutch in Feb and there was no smell.

If it smells it's likely slipping.

New clutch required on a 3 year old car? Has it covered a huge distance?

The car has 26.000 ki.i bought thecar few weeks ago.the previous owner  must of been raiding the clutch badly. If things get worse ill go back to dealership.

Mine went at ~33k miles.
It was suggested from JKM who did it, that the original owner didn't let it bed in properly.  There were hot spots over it apparently.
