Changing Swing for RCD330

Featured Replies

Hi all,

Wondering how many of you changed their swing in their facelift fabia 2's for the RCD330/RCD330+. Is it an easy job or does it require adapters etc?

I decided that using my xav-ax1000 from my previous car would be a lot of messing about so wanted to go for a more OEM look.

I've only seen one thread on here that was a success where others had problems but they were all prefacelift. Is it a straight swap with the facelift models

Thanks

We swapped ours for an Amundsen+ RNS-315. They're around €350 on eBay. Almost plug and play, just a bit of cable routing work needed for the GPS antenna and microphone (for Bluetooth).

Super easy! Here is a video I made installing a RNS310 (older version of 315) but its exactly the same as a 330/330+

Shows you where to mount the GPS module too.

Thank you, I'll most likely be using Carplay most of the time but I might as well install that gps module too

Not sure if the 330+ actually uses one in hindsight.

either way its a really easy install.

Car play is great until you have no signal for waze.

Hello

I have a Skoda Fabia 2013 Sportline and I changed the radio (Swing) to RCD330 Plus.. Works perfectly.. mm well, I just have a problem with the rear camera, because when I put reverse, the screen radio turns black.. I don't know how to fix that yet.
