coolant warning light mk1 fabia 1.4 mpi 2002

Featured Replies

I am getting a coolant level warning light  / i replaced the tank it still comes on / i put i wire across it still came on /  i changed the temp sensor it still comes on ( it's not doing it all the time and it can do it straight away or after you have driven it for a short while ) if you turn the car off again the warning light goes away  the car is a  02 1.4 mpi

Did you try a genuine coolant temp sensor? On a different post about poor starting, someone mentioned cheap copies can be rubbish.

Hi thanks for the reply it was pin 16 in the dash cluster and 15 / 14 & 13 all were cracked the car had starting issues which I fixed pin 1 & 2 when the dash was plugged back in it must have dislodged all those other pins I didn't know the dashes were that badly made it is the cause of many many issues with skoda / VW & AUDI
