Advise on spacers, spigots and springs

Skoda Octavia 1.6TDI MY16 SE Business greenline III 

I've normally bought cars that have already been upgraded, but I've bought the turini's 18's and when they arrive I'm putting 225 40 18s on. 

First question is do I need a spigot ring as I'm going to a bigger wheel? 

I'm looking at lowering the car by 40mm, I've had a quick look and seems a bit of a mind field. Can anything anyone can recommend any specific ones, I've seen makes like pro sport, Eibach and H&R. 

and last of all will I need spacers if I'm lowering it and have bigger wheels.
