Can you tell me how much and what oil I need for manual gearbox 2.0tdi 170bhp? I know there is no gearbox oil plug to drain it, so do I have to take cover off and put new oil through reverse sensor on gearbox? Cheers.

I'm pretty sure there will be a drain plug? Have you had a look?

 

Capacities will be somewhere between 1.8 - 2.2 litres. You may need to get googling. Start off by finding your gearbox code and go from there 

Gearbox code can be found on the build data sticker on boot floor and sometimes in service book.

Then you can look up oil part number and capacity on 7zap.com; and probably find 360° pictures of one in ebay listings which can help to spot things like drain and fill plugs.
