Amundsen and phone pairing

Featured Replies

Hello, i own a 2011 Yeti with Admunsen system.

I already pair two phones on it ( a long time ago) but when i try now, i can't find the car on my phone...

No menu when i push the phone button, only mute but i'm sure when my phone was connected i had one.

Start the engine, seach BT on the phone, nothing...

What can i do ?

Can you help ?

😪

Isn’t the Bluetooth module fitted under the seat when this facility is available on that age car? Perhaps it has failed but radio will still work without it normally?

Elsewhere everything works fine.

Some phones are not compatible, especially the early bluetooth with modern phones.

Edit: Have you been into the System Setup/Bluetooth menus?

Try to reset the units PHONE SETTINGS back to factory setting then start again ,might be wrong but thought you could only pair 2phones anyway worth a try

The directions are in the owners manual from about page 120

Take a picture of your Amundsen unit and post it here please.

One on these phones has already been paired to the car in the past.

I've already done a factory reset of the radio unit (don't know where to do only the phone).

Not in French.

And this ****ing manual tells me nothing interesting (push the phone touch to pair but it depends on the model on the unit... Great !)

You have an Amundsen unit, so no Bluetooth built in. Somewhere in the car is s Bluetooth kit. Generally on the floorunder the drivers seat but seeing as you appear to be in France perhaps look under both seats? If it's not there then it'll be hidden behind the dash perhaps. Find it, and disconnect it for a minute and reconnect to reboot.

Sorry I did not know you were French, I have the radio manual from 2011 and you are right it tells you nothing about the pairing phones but I found how to do it using the car owner manual. There was 12 pages in that manual for pairing phones.

I have the later manual for the later Amundsen+ (2014) and this one does tell you how to pair phones but my copy is in English. If you are ok to translate it I can send you a PDF copy.

You have a Bluetooth problem, not a pairing problem. coffee.gif

Find and disconnect the Bluetooth module and reset it first.

Went under the driver seat, unplugged all the boxes for 15 minutes.

Whithout effects.

Because that's not the Bluetooth unit. That's the control module for the drivers electric seat.
