Got to be worth a try once though :D

not in your fabia though james :nono:

That would make your eyes water at the till if you filled up with it in mistake for BP Ultima. :(

back in the midst of time when curlywurlies were 3ft long and wagon wheels were the size of dustbin lids you used to be able to buy 5 star (no not the pop band from the 80s) leaded petrol which iirc was about the same octane rating i think , so theres absolutely nothing really new about this expensive fuel other than its got not lead in it and somebody might be foolish enough to pay an unreasonable some of money for it

Only in the South...paaah

Mind you whats the price for a pint of Shandy now?

Does nobody know a pie every hundred miles makes more difference...

/puts lid back on solvent can.

Only a ton for filling up, I think this is publicity stunt and for the M# test pilots....how many miles did that fancy beetle Clarkson drove around old europe do at full throttle, or was it time, 12 minutes...I seem to recall; which makes it a tenner a minute, roughly and very unscientfically, on top of depreciation not to forget the invalidation of your warranty as you register max revs held on your ecu...so about 100,010 pounds a minute. Yep I can see now it's aimed at one type of owner, anybody else follow my reasoning?

maybe its a ruse by the mortgage lenders to get people down south with performance cars to remortgage there houses to pay for a full tank of fuel , and then repossess there homes when they cant pay , at least they'll still have a car to sleep in though

Have you been drinking Colin??

bought a bottle of octane booster from the local spares shop t'other day (actually for my minimoto!) it raises fuel to 105 apparently. 4.99 for 330ml which treats 50litres! BP can go...... well you know...

Being a diesel boy I am not in the know about petrol shinadigans, so does that actually work? As I shall be joining the petrol brigade soon

tried it on my old (standard) minimoto engine and it did'nt seem to do much.

however...... recently bought a new race motor for it and that has advanced timing so hope it will make a difference on that one, just gotta finish running it in and will let y'all know!!

what is this petrol liquid that one speaks of.....

Newbury Centre Filling Station, 758 Eastern Avenue, Newbury Park, Ilford, Essex, IG2 7HU

Thats only down the road from me then.. Gotta be worth a try !!
