The offside mirror glass came loose today, got it off before it was lost. However when I got home and removed the back pad a clip of some sort was dislodge, see photo, anyone know where it fits on rear of mirror pad, hsd a good look but cannot detect anywhere obvious!  --  the piece is approx. 30mm in length.
