As the title really. 

 

The steering wheel on my car is really worn so looking at replacing it. The VRS wheels aren't exactly common so I'm just wondering what else fits utilising the standard airbag.

 

I seem to remember golf mk4, Audi TT etc wheels fit but thought I'd check first.

The above works fine, as does an R32 wheel which some prefer.

It has been known that you can fit a MK5 Golf wheel, but you'll have to put up with the paddle (if it has it).

As it's the same platform, I can see no reason as to why this won't work.

Thanks Dean, I'll see what I can find locally then. I'd have an R32 wheel but they are still £££.

 

Will the standard airbag fit back on if I use a golf gti or TT wheel? They look the same shape so I'm guessing so.
