Just had my 2016 1.6D DSG serviced and MoT'd at 55,000 miles.  Nothing to report for either. 👌

 

Service manager said the Stop/start software had been updated and said I probably wouldn't notice any difference!

 

What I have noticed is that the engine oil temp seems to be cooler - c.95°C now, c.100°C before. Probably new filters.....   

When i had my DSG serviced they updated the software. Now when i lift off the throttle, the gear disengages like it does in eco mode, only not as pronounced as on / off like in eco.

It seems to have helped with economy and doesnt affect driveability either.
