Octavia 2020 / DSG version

Featured Replies

Hello everyone, thinking of getting a Skoda 2020 2.0 TDI DSG7 and i have a question to help my research as im going to use it as a taxi in traffic etc.

Does everyone know which exactly DSG transmission is that? Is it DQ200? There is a list of which transmission every Skoda has in wikipedia but its not updated for the latest model. It just says 7 speed automatic.

Thank you

Welcome.

It is not a DQ200 DSG which is a 7speed Twin Dry Clutch and not used on any 2.0 TSI or TDI's or AWD's.

So a 2020 TDI is fitted with a 7 speed wet clutch DSG that requires a Oil change every 40,000 miles. (Some DSG 7 Speeds are every 80,000 miles now.)

*Someone here will know the actual DSG it is.*

So DQ200's are just used with engines up to 250 Nm.  that is 1.0, 1.2, 1.4, 1.5 & some 1.8 TSI's and 1.2, 1.5, 1.4 & 1.6 TDI's.
