Hi all. Car is 3-4 years old, and the silver trim round the windows is looking a bit shabby. It's a bright metal strip and seems to be encapsulated in clear plastic. The metal underneath has started to discolour and looks speckled. The clear plastic obviously stops you from polishing the metal. Has anyone else had this and is there a solution (apart from replacing with new), or do I live with it?
