JB4 piggyback for FL Skoda Superb 2020 190PS

Featured Replies

Hi mates,

Looking to install a JB4 piggy for my FL Superb (2.0 TSI 190PS) but a local distro told me the current JB4 for the Gen 3 EA888 isn't compatible with the MG1 type ECU used in the MK3.5 Superb. However the same unit is compatible with many VAG cars running on the same engine and I find it quite implausible that the Superb is using a special ECU different from all of the models listed below.

Anybody had experience or knowledge with this to share?

Contact BMS and George who is the VAG development responsible: [email protected]

I also suggest buying from BMS directly as you'll have lifetime support from their part.

would'nt surprise me, the mk3.5 superb is the newest out of the vag cars you've listed.

vag/skoda will call it continuous improvement, all it does is delay things for the tuners though, they eventually find a work around.
