Decided I needed a replacement for the 330d and again the Octavia came out top. Found this one near by as a ‘we’ll just go test drive it see what we think’ as it was the first Octavia we looked at.

Really good price And top spec with under 65k miles 2014 car.

1st job.. 40mm H&R setup. No air suspension like the last Octavia i had.

Yeah never had springs before. Always gone for coilovers or air. But a subtle drop but sensible height and still drives nice

15mm and 20mm spacers arrived. Should make it look alot better as the wheels are proper tucked in the arch since lowering.

 

Had a spare few hours today..

Order arrived of centre caps and ‘Skoda’ ‘Octavia’ badges. Decided agains fitting the letters as i quite like it clean. Will probably get rid of the VRS badge too when i donthe Skoda badge. 

Fishing line, pick off foam and then used Sticky stuff remover. 5 min job.

Followed by a quick hand polish with G3 then G10. Perfect

 

15 & 20mm spacers fitted. Makes a massive difference and sits perfect. Gave it a clean too and a half arsed wipe down under the bonnet. 

Bonnet struts, washer fluid funnel/cap and new badge on bonnet.
