Hi, new owner of second hand 2017 Skoda Superb Estate SEL and I can't get the memory seat function working.

 

Pressing 1 moves the seat to what I can only imagine is the previous drivers setting. 

 

Holding down set and any number when I have changed the position does nothing.

 

Have also tried moving seat all way forwards first but no luck.

 

Any help please?

I think it goes:

 

press 1

 

adjust the seat how you want

 

press set

 

press 2 

 

adjust the seat how you want

 

press set.

 

 

hopefully then when you press 1 the next time it’ll return to how you want it.

 

pretty sure this is how I did mine, not sure if that’s  what the manual says or not! 

Mine was, adjust the seat to your position, hold set for 5-10sec, then press 1,2 or 3 depending on which one you want to store that position to.

for mine is:

1.  Adjust seat to desired position

2.  Press SET

3.  Press and Hold '1' until an acoustic confirmation is heard.  Release '1' and the setting is stored in '1'

I was told by the dealer that after getting seat in preferred position, store as follows....

 

1. Press and hold "Set" button for a couple of seconds.

2. Press memory number (no need to hold).

 

When changing from one memory number to another..... Press the memory number required but keep it pressed until all the adjustments have finished (they don't all take place at once, it does them in a sort of sequence).

Just a heads up if you're keys are programmed to a user profile the seat may adjust itself when you unlock the car. 

I have tried to save the settings to my key now thanks

 

How do you get the settings to also save reversing position for wing mirrors?

All auto, you need to leave the switch on the adjust left mirror position. 

Download the SkodaConnect app, it’s got the manual on it. I had to check the manual to change the wipers!

 

It says in the manual to hold the set button and within 10 seconds press the memory button. It isn’t clear whether you hold the set button and the memory button together; or press and hold set, let go, then press the memory button.
