Hi all, had my 04 fabia 1.9tdi for about 7 years and don't intend getting rid of it.

It's now got 136,000 miles on it and some bits and bobs needs looking at.

The main thing is the suspension as it's getting soft, passes the mot each year but it's soft, would you all think it's the springs or the shocks/damper rods?

The other thing would the vrs suspension fit?

The suspension will be completely knackered after sixteen years, just replace the whole lot, the parts are not expensive.

Ok  as you say it's not that much.

would it be best to put standard suspension or vrs? 

Is the vrs lower than the standard TDI and will it fit?

I replaced the console bushes and suspension the difference was amazing felt like a different car
