Rear coil springs

Featured Replies

Does the Kodiaq ambience 2.0 TSI 2018 comes  with no coil springs in the rear?

I am planning to add some rubber cushion in the front but surprise.. have no springs at the rear..

i will appreciate your comments

Very strange if  you haven’t got any rear springs, my 2.0tsi certainly has.

What have you got instead?

Are they not there, but a bit hidden?  See this picture (from the Kodiaq workskop manuals):

I’m pretty sure my car has 4 springs.

Don’t they all?

I'm pretty sure the OP will be viewing the rear suspension from above the rear wheels, looking into the wheel arch. From this angle the springs are not visible, only the shock absorber.

As @DaveMiller suggests you need to look from underneath the car to see the springs. All Kodiaq's are sprung on each corner.
