Long time lurker on here looking for some help as I've made a mistake (I think).

 

I was having a faff with VCDS tonight and enabled a couple of things ontop of what I had already done. Some worked some didn't. Those that didn't work I reversed. However, I'm now getting a lot more options in the light settings menu in the infotainment system that I don't recall enabling.

 

The options are as follows:

Dynamic Light assist

Light Assist

Dynamic Cornering Light

Switch on time

Automatic headlight control in rain

Travel Mode

Front background lighting

Roof background lighting

Door background lighting

Footwell lighting

Coming home function

Leaving home function

 

Obviously it would be great if a 2016 Fabia Monte Carlo has these options but it doesn't. All of the extra options return a "function not available" error when selected and the cars behaviour seems to be the same. The car doesn't have a Rain Light Sensor installed and doesn't have auto lights and definatley no ambient lighting.

 

I comapred the coding of the modules using an autoscan that I had saved the day before before and the module coding for module 09, 17 and 5F is the same.

 

Its as if I've checked something to say an extra sensor(s) have been installed.

 

How do I remove these options from the menu?

Autoscans were supposed to be collapsed and scrollable not take up pages worth of space my mistake.

This issue seems to have fixed itself. After coming back to the car after an hour and plugging back in the options have gone. Does anyone have any idea why this is?

 

I also found the debug folder which lists all changes made using the cable and as many weren't made it was easy to find the original coding for the modules but that is obviously not needed but they have now been written down so I can revert to factory if needed.
