Ok - that's good to know.  Whatever they are putting in will have to be like for like...  so I'll make sure it covers all the current features. 

 

DAB, Bluetooth, NAV.

Ah so you bought the car on the understanding it has Bluetooth, DAB and nav?  You should be in line for an upgrade to Amundsen then.  Still only MIB1 so no androidauto/carplay but a good upgrade either way. 

 

Just had another look at the screen you showed to start with.  That's bigger than the Amundsen so you may even get the Columbus system.  Fingers crossed for you.

Yeah - that was part of sales pitch 'Upgraded Media Unit' - so they've shot themselves in the foot.   I wondered why the Sales Manager smirked when he told me.... 

 

Never have trusted main dealers - but I had no choice with this car as it was the only one that was affordable and specced to my liking and I only had two weeks to buy a car before I went to France as my previous vRS' cambelt snapped...  (I should add - at 80 on the motorway... not much engine left :)
