suitable replacement for my Fabia 1.2

Featured Replies

Hi i have run a Fabia 1.2 HTP 64 bhp since 2003 im looking to start a book business so i would like something suitable for carrying books but still retain the values of a car i dont want to drive a van so im llooking for something that will do for social and business purposes i have thought about the Fabia Estate as one example if so what engine would anyone recommend i also like the look of the new Roomster i wonder whether dealers are taking test drive requests this would be ideal and something different.:)

The 100BHP tdi is quite a good engine and seems to match the character of the estate quite well. I had one twice as a loan car. The first time I didn't like it but the car was in the middle of the running in period and I was careful. The second time it had a few thousand miles on and I used the power. It worked well and I'd strongly recommend a test drive for it.

As for the roomster, if you go to the Skoda UK website they are collecting details from potential customers which is one way to get a dealer to contact you, but walking in the door of your local dealer will be just as effective as long you don't get a salesman who is short of his monthly targets as he'll focus on selling you the Fabia estate!

vrs fabia all the way go on you know you want too:D

i dont want to drive a van

You might find it's worth discussing this decision with your accountant, as it can be quite financially advantageous to run a van rather than a car...

Rob.

Fabia Bohemian Combi with 1.9TDi you will never ever look back!
