Dear Fellow Skoda Owners,

New to Briskoda, though not to Skoda. I had a 2007 Octavia 2.0L TDI L&K which I absolutely loved. It never let me down during the 10 years of my ownership. Sadly, I had to say good bye to it earlier this month. Now I drive a 2020 Octavia SE L First Edition with lots of technology to make friends with. Looking forward to finding out more from the various fora.

Hi everyone I'm upgrading headlights on a 2022 kodiaq from basic led to matrix (8IT basic LED) To: 8IU adaptive LED. Need a map of adaptations for 09 to correctly code them in. Anyone with vcds who can provide me with that please? Many thanks in advance.

Hi everyone, I’m a relatively new member here but I’ve been maintaining my 2004 Skoda Octavia Mk2 (1.9 TDI PD) as a "time capsule" with only 21,000 miles. It’s my only car, used for social/domestic/pleasure, and I’m looking for some advice on insuring it as an enthusiast/modern classic. The car has been professionally rust-proofed/Dynaxed by BAS Cherished Cars and has an OEM cruise control retrofit. I have a 2024 Octavia Vrs diesel. Last year I was in France approaching one of the free ferries over the river Seine, downstream of Rouen. I took a wrong turn and had to reverse, then go slowly forward to get to the correct lane. At only about 2 or 3 mph the car came to a sudden violent stop accompanied by a bang. I thought I had hit a hidden obstruction and got out to look. Absolutely nothing, the car had just autonomously and violently braked to a stop with nothing in front of it. Tonight,

2014 SE. Had a low battery which failed to start the car. New battery. Car will start but dies after 3 seconds. Full tank of petrol. Dash engine light goes off but EPC remains on. Dash panel shows 'Safe' at all times. List of items checked: All fuses. Key fob battery. Spare key tried. Cam sensor changed. Ignition barrel and reader antenna changed. Crank sensor passes check. Fuel supply checked - OK. Throttle body checked. Multiple connectors checked. Battery disconnected, leads shorted. Dash pan
