Radio channels not working

Featured Replies

Seems to be an issue with the radio. Some radio frequencys work but the ones I actually want ( Talksport and BBC radio 5live) don't work.

I thought it might have been a location issue but the radio works with no issue.

I don't seem to know what the problem is. Anyone else had this issue?

Thanks

Meant to say on my dad's car.

You may need to read the owners manual for the stereo your car has, in order to tune the frequencies correctly. Bear in mind your audio will most likely be analogue and not digital.

Unless I miss my guess, Talksh!te and 5live are only on MW, MW reception is horrible in cars generally and particularly on the Fabia, either upgrade to DAB or stream the stations you want from your phone.

Yes they are both on MW. The only time I am on either is when the football is on so I can listen to the commentery.

What is DAB, and where can I buy it?

DAB is digital radio, it means buying a new head unit and an additional aerial, as a bonus you will probably get Bluetooth for your phone as well since most digital head units come with.
