Disc brakes, time for a change.

Featured Replies

I’m feeling a pulsating sensation when I apply the brakes so slightly, my guess is that it is the rear brake discs that needs a change.

A couple of questions:

* Is original the only way to go och should I buy from AUTODOC for example?

* What size is it exactly in the front and in the rear?

* Ventilated in the rear?

Best regards.

The 280 like the 272 shares it's discs with the MK7 Golf R so you have vented 340mm front and vented 310mm rear discs.

Thanks a lot.
I haven’t changed discs on a car with electrical park brake before (but a lot on old standard brake cars), how do I handle the park brake when it’s electric?

Has to be done with vcds

No problem just as normal.
brought these from AUTODOC last week. They are Zimmerman sport discs. Had them on from of the superb and an octy before that and they have last a bloody good amount of time. Upgrading the back ones to the vented 310mm like the petrol 289’and golf r etc
