Can anyone tell can I fit a Sports Exhaust to a Skoda Octavia 2.0tdi MK3 which is been Remapped from 150bhp to 190bhp.

 

I am looking with a throaty note and not too loud can anyone advise me on a exhaust system or back box that will do a decent exhaust note.

The sound on the diesel won’t change unless the dpf is removed and even then it doesn’t make a massive difference. Unfortunately the EA288 just isn’t suited for tuning in this way. You can get a nice burble form the back with a full dpf back system from the likes of Tony Banks in Leeds but it doesn’t make a huge difference.

you need a kufatec to change the sound. Ive fitted an FMS twin box on my tdi and a kufatec BT unit which allows me to play around with the sound. its a real head turner.

bonus is you can turn it off completely if you want.
