Anyone know if it is possible to change form an old climate control unit to a new digital climate control unit without any issues?

I think you would have to change most of the equipment behind the dashboard, and wiring looms to make this work. Big, big task. 

Compare some of the part numbers between these two diagrams; many differences:

I have often contemplated this one................you would def need the dash out to fit wiring and motors etc and thats "IF" the housing is the same, but without seeing them side by side, difficult to know the amount of work involved.

 

As with anything its def possible, just depends on budget etc.

 

On the flip side, the knobs work fine lol.........

That is the later climatronic control as well. I don't think it is even compatible with the older type.
