Valid MOT, VED & Insurance, fit a towbar and electrics & have a Driving Licence that allows you to tow, and maybe best get some Towing Instruction if you have never done any towing before.

You also need to understand the maximum permitted weight of caravan your car can tow - I think it's 1500kg but your handbook will confirm.

 

Is it the case that your particular model is not officially allowed to tow?

 

I know the Fabia vRS was never homologated to tow.

 

If this is the case then there will be no towing weights listed on the log book.
