H&R Cup kit.

Featured Replies

Looking to treat myself to a lowering kit for xmas, the H&R kit is looking favourable at the minute.

All the kits seem to lower the front more than the rear, do the vrs's sit lower at the rear as std?

If anybody on here has experience of this kit I'd like to hear honest opinions on ride quality

H&R do a 35mm and 50mm kit as well as the 55mm/40mm kit.

So they do a 50mm kit, am I right in thinking it drops the vrs by 35mm?

I have the -50mm cup kit on our VRS CR.

Front is 640mm from ground to centre of wheel arch and rear is 650mm.  That's with the standard 18" wheels on.

It is a bit harsher than Eibach springs but been fine on ours.

I'm looking into a full sports suspension myself. With a drop of around 30mm. These do look quality as h & r usually is. How does the comfort compare to the standard? And how do they compare with say a coilover set up?

A little firmer than standard but a more comfortable and forgiving option compared to coilovers. As with all H&R products the quality is tip top.

Do you have any experience of the comfort kit H/R40260-1?

How odd, everywhere else it comes up as 45-50mm comfort kit.

Yes so that's the same kit.

Great, just trying to make sure I get the right kit lol.

I have seen that I need to use the dust cover and bump stop, would a std bump stop not be too big?

They should be ok but you can trim them down if needed.
