Weird noise from the engine bay

Featured Replies

Left my car in the park for a halfhour, when i came back i heard a strange noise coming somewhere in the enginebay. 2nd time i heard it. Both times car has been parked with no engine running.

It sounds like hydraulic pump, same kind of noise when you turn wheels and hear the steering assistant working. Tone of the noise is little higher like "iiiink" :) Its not very loud noise, you can hear it best if you`re quite close to the tire. It sounds like its coming somewhere between front tires.

It keeps that noise about a second, then its quiet for about 7 seconds and then the noise comes again and again and again... What is it? i have no idea

First time i heard it i tought that it comes from brakepads but the car isnt moving anywhere so it could`t be it.

The aircon on my car makes a few strange noises after a drive when parked up.
