Aliexpress Inline Bluetooth Adapter

Featured Replies

Hi All,

I was going to buy a new unit to replace my non Bluetooth system in my Octy. However I'm oy really interested in Bluetooth a d stumbled across a neat looking item that has a Bluetooth unit with a microphone input too. Not sure if anybody has tried one of these...?

Thanks

Maz

Do you have a link?

i had a jelly comb bluetooth thingy in my insignia that plugged into the aux port. could do calls, and stream music to the headunit. it about 40-50mm diameter, round single button job.

worked fine, layout of the cabin in the in****nia (where the aux port and 12v sockets are) meant i couldnt really hide the cables as much as i wouldve wanted.

and night driving the little blue light flashing was a tad distracting unless i put it on the side of the centre console, so thats where it lived.

audio quality was good, but due to where i had to put it, i did have to shout a bit during conversations to be heard.

edit...

i got it on amazon,

i just checked and its not currently available. but it cost 15quid sterling, plus postage, so your not going to spend a fortune trying something out.

Hi thanks the item is was thinking of sits behind the head unit. It has that square plug at either end that looks very similar to the plug that the oem unit connects to. It just has a small module wired off of that with a microphone in jack. In principle it's very clever. I'm going to buy one I'll take a picture of it when it arrives.

Thanks maz
