Greetings everyone, I am sam from india I have a mk1 Octavia vrs 2008 ,I ve been experiencing a pull to left after I changed the cv axle and lcr bushings ,I have replaced every part which could cause a pull but still no luck ! It is lowered and has all 4 new tyres 225-45/17 ,I've tried different alignment shops but still no luck ,the pull to left comes even when I'm not accelerating, it used to drive perfectly fine before I changed the cv axle ,I've tried to replace the axles from another mk1 vrs it still has the same problem ! Engine mounts ,dog mount ,arb bushes ,lcr all new ,new top powerflex mounts ! Still no luck ,any help would be really appreciated ,

What type of hub nut came with your new CV joint, and what torque procedure did you use to tighten it? I just had the same problem after changing a CV joint. The new one came with a hex nut, didn't realise they torqued differently to the standard 12 point nut, so I used the procedure in the Haynes manual and it pulled to the left horribly. I bought a replacement 12 point nut and now it's fine.

 

You say it does it when not accelerating too so maybe something else, but this gotcha'd me so worth asking...
