Hi

Featured Replies

Thanks for letting me join Skoda community. I have recently purchased 2001 fabia 1.4mpi as a little runaround car ( I have to admit I like it a lot ). I have never owned Skoda before but my father did so my first driving lessons took place in Skoda 100 L nearly 3 decades ago.

My plan is to tackle all maintenance and repairs myself so I think I will have fair bit to write about soon.

Looking forward to sharing my new Skoda experiences with you

Hello welcome to the Skoda car forum club

Hi welcome to the forum.

we have a 1.4mpi too , slightly newer but they are great runaround and also a tried and tested VW engine.  They are dead easy to service , the oil filters are the metal canister type.     I’ve posted a few easy tasks I’ve done before , such as a fuel filter change , and rattly exhaust heat shield fix.
