do they interfere with indicators / wiper / ACC stalk operation ? any downsides ? feedback particularly welcome if you've driven a car with prominent paddles, not the dinky VAG ones

I bought a set of cheap paddle extenders, but decided against fitting them .

I temporarily stuck them on with blu tack to get an idea of the ergonomics, and thought they would soon annoy me by me accidentally hitting them when using the stalks. 

Other paddle extenders maybe better though .
