Display radio track on Columbus?

Featured Replies

Hi all.

ive got a standard Columbus dvd head unit in the car. On the radio screen it shows the name of the station and the time, is there any way to display the additional scrolling info of the radio station such as the DJ and name of the track?

There's an option somewhere in the settings to display radio data. That will do what you want.

Isn’t that a DAB radio only option ?

No, FM supports radio text as well, but not every station uses it.

Thanks. I couldn’t find it in settings anywhere, I’ll keep looking.

On the radio screen touch "Extras" at the bottom of the screen, then select "Radio Text"

Then you need an updated software version.

A map update is not the same as a software update.

Yeh no worries, didn’t think it would be but I meant I need to do some updates anyway. Sorry for the confusion 👍
