Škoda Scala Tyre pressure

Featured Replies

Hello everybody.

I am new on this forum as I have just recently got myself my first Škoda. It is Škoda Scala 1,5 TSI DSG.

I have changed tires this weekend to winter ones. There is a problem, since there isn't a label with required pressured for tires on inside of my fuel tank cap, where it should be. I don't know why it is missing. Anyhow, I didn't find this information anywhere. I contacted my car dealership for info, but didn't get an answer yet (maybe because of corona, all non-food stores have to be closed). If anyone here has same Scala as me, I would like to ask for picture of tires pressure label.

Have a look on the door pillars, my sticker (Octavia) is on the drivers side door pillar.

If you cant find them do them all at 2.2bar (32 psi) and you wont be far out.

I have checked all pillars, under the engine hood, at the spare tyre... Even in the manual there is no pressure info, it ust says to check under the fuel tank cap.

For now I have put them all to 2.4, since I was able to find pressure info for Kamiq, which is basically just a lifted Scala.

Brihtnez, I have the same model with 18'' rims (Scala 1.5 DSG)  and under normal conditions (not heavy cargo) the tyre pressure should be 2.3 bar for the four tyres. I do have the sticker with that info on my fuel cap (right now i don't have a photo with me but i will upload it later).

Hello @Brihtnez,

I took a picture of the sticker on my Skoda Scala 1.0 TSI, I hope this will be helpful.

@nickVe  It helps only if the pressures for a 1.0TSI is the same as for a heavier 1.5TSI.

Maybe someone with a 1.5TSI could post what is on their car.

Its the same sticker on my 1.5 TSI.  We use PSI (one of the few things not metric for some reason here). So I put in 34 PSI on the 17inch wheels - runs nicely on that.

Thanks everybody for effort, especially @nickVe!

I was also wondering if the weight diference because of different motor and transmission would affect the pressure, but appatently not.

2.4 bar front and back runs perfectly atm.

You are welcome @Brihtnez.

Mine is 1.0 tsi 115 HP, manual transmission and I found two different values for the weight of the car, 1188 kg is the weight declared by the manufacturer and 1263 kg is the weight in my documents. One of the values I assume includes the driver as well, the weight provided by Skoda, probably is on empty vehicle, I am not sure.
