i have no spoken route guidance messages on admunsen mib1 i have turned the voice up and nothing also done a reset 

is there a setting to turn this on even using voice commands do not work

Just an idea. A while ago I set my route up but new the first part and only needed guidance in the destination area. I got fed up with the spoken directions that came over the music so I muted the spoken guidance buy pushing (not rolling) the volume roller button on the steering wheel while the guidance was active so leaving just the music playing. I am trying to remember how I got the guidance back again, without much success so far. But I think it was either pushing the button while still in the Active guidance Screen or one of the options in NAV. Probably more luck than knowledge! Anyway you may have just muted the guidance.

There is a setting under the sat nav options to disable it.

 

Audi versions can talk but mute when on the phone, but the Skoda/Seat versions seem too dumb to cope with it, so I muted mine.
