Identify noise please

Featured Replies

This noise was present with my previous wheels and tyres, but due to overall noise it was more of a feeling.

you have to listen closely, but there is a definite rhythmic pulsing “wrrmm..wrrmm ...wrrmm.”

I thought it was wheel bearings but Skoda did not.
it’s really noticeable at 115kph

the new wheels and tyres made the recording possible

My water pump just failed. Do you think that could be the cause of the noise/vibration?

$1k for water pump and timing belt. 🥺

Just listened to the YouTube versions. It appears the compression algorithm has filtered out the noise FFS!!!

Its so much clearer on my phone.

Skoda have now decided it is the wheel bearings ffs!!!

Passenger front apparently. Amazingly the side I picked 3months ago when I first approached them about the noise.

****s!!!

Be funny if it still doesn’t fix the noise.

Not the wheel bearing. But replacing it helped reduce overall noise.

Turns out it was a wheel bearing. Both fronts replaced, noise gone.
