VRS brakes

Featured Replies

I picked up my new vrs today and I have to say, I love it!

The dealer told me that they are replacing the green calipers with red ones. Is this true and what you all think?

First I've heard of that although a demo model on an exhibition stand in Geneva had red brake callipers  .

I thought the whole purpose of the green is because of Skoda's rallying heritage?.

Someone else mentioned that on here, not heard of it myself.

It's absolutely true  Starting from wk22 MY2007 ! Check this on www.skoda.at : ***Bremss

The one thing that people say to me when I show them the RS is what is the story with the green calipers!! Personally I think they will look better in red........

paa red is so bloody common, mistake in my mind.

That said I don't care now there is a 2.0l oil burner rs :)

I must get myself a test drive of that.

Should be green calipers, it sets the brand apart from Nova red.

Maybe it's cheaper to share a pot of red with Seat?

The car congfigurator also list the diesel vs petrol RS at exactly the same price - anyone notice?? EUR 28.660
