ABS module factory reset by mistake

Featured Replies

Hello guys!

I am a new owner of Superb 206kw LK and recently have a big trouble with it.

I was trying to solve my jerky DSG functionality and reset the factory settings for ABS module by VCDS! Now I know it was a huge mistake, all coding was gone, at least my scans were saved so I restored the codes. Nevertheless, there are plenty of faults now, autohold, parkpilot, acc etc are not working!

I have searched for setting the basic settings for MQB platform, but it seems that all the instructions are for older cars.

Can anyone advise me, please?

Have you driven the car since doing the reset?  I only ask because I did something (I can't remember what now.) and when I turned on the ignition I had all sorts of error messages saying everything wasn't working.  After driving around the block it all worked again.

It's probably a good suggestion to have a short drive, to check if the 'Xmas tree' switches off.

I had something similar right after I had to change the battery on my former Superb Mk2. Every warning lights went off, after few hundreds meter... ;)
