Jabba Anti Roll Bar for Fabia.

Featured Replies

I've had mine fitted for some weeks now, and have covered quite a few miles with it on. The first corner you come to with it fitted will make you smile. The whole car rolls considerably less. This on its own makes the car much more sporty without affecting body roll. Well worth £200 of anyones money for this handling improvement alone. Totally recommended.

But there's a lot more to it than that.

The beauty of the ARB is the way it stiffens up the back end. Under harsh braking, the light, slightly wobbly back end remains planted and solid feeling. When cornering, the car feels much more planted, less steering input is needed, and you'll get it right first time with no correction needed.

And for the real driving enthuisiast - the best bit...

The ARB will let you lift off oversteer... go into a corner/roundabout quicker than you would normally feel safe, give the steering a tug and ease off the gas. The back end will drift out a touch... simply use the throttle to ease the back end in and out, its so easy, simple, predicatable and controlable... there is no frantic scrabbling for opposite lock, no snatchiness, just bloody good fun. To get it right, it really is all in the throttle, you dont have to do much with the steering at all! :D

The ARB is THE best mod you can do to your Fabia, vRS or not. BUY ONE.

Oh - and cheers Dave for teaching me to drive my car... :)

Ditch the 18" wheels, go back to 16" standard, and then have some real fun mate

Er... maybe I'll but the 16's on shot Turanzas on the back, leave the 18s on the front! :rubchin:

Cheers Dave! Harry and myself are in awe of your car, its spot on mate. And your driving isn't too bad either.

Hi guys,

New to the site and just finding my way around. Put a deposit down on an 04 Fabia VRs yesterday so counting the days/weeks till it lands at the dealers.

I gave the car some stick on the test drive and noticed the back end was a bit twitchy, especially when I lifted off the gas/under braking.

Is this product one you recommend to cure this problem?

I assume you bought it from Jabba Sport and they have a price of £210 Inc VAT

Jabba Sport - Motor Sport

But does that include fitting? And how long does it take?

There might be a Briskoda Group Buy running for these - do a search. If not, give Jabba a ring and ask for a Briskoda price.

Group Buy price to supply and fit was £226 I think. Postage costs mean the supply-and-post cost is about the same.

It really is a doddle to fit... i did mine without even needing to jack the car up or remove the wheels

The key is to keep the weight on the back axle (in my case keep the wheels on the ground, this stops the springs popping out when you undo the bottom shock absorber mount.

the hardest part is shaping the clamps to fit round the axle:)

Stu & I preshaped them first, without the bar, then around the bar with initial shape in place :)

Not sure I agree with lack of snatching though, but that was beyond normal limits when I had to do an emergency stop and steer around a moron lorry driver that didnt check mirrors at all and nearly drove another car in front of me off the road, followed by me :( Missed him (just)

Had mine fitted for a week, I must say it does work a treat stiffening up the rear!!

I know I don't have a fabia/vrs but i'm on the same platform!

I also have the vrs front ARB, coilovers, strut brace, Toyo T1-R's and 20mm rear spacers so the full suspension works!!

It is unreal the speed you can enter/exit corners however sharp they are!

Turn in seems much more responsive, the back just doesn't step out, if you do give it too much welly then it oversteers, which is coreretcable by a bit more power, brilliant!

Thanks JabbaSport!

fitted one of these a few weeks back let it bed in for a week or so and now been giving it some round corners and omg you can notice the difference, and alot less body roll a well worth it mod GO GET ONE!!!

Just got mine in the latest group buy and fitted it this afternoon. It's a doddle to fit, the only niggle being getting the clamps around the beam and bar. You really do wish that the bolts were 10mm longer! One thing i noticed is that the poly bushes opened up a few milimeters when tightened into place, but i see that some of the guys have used cable ties to prevent that. Maybe a job for next time i'm under the car...

Anyway, first impressions are good. Body roll is seriously reduced, and turn in feels nice. I need to get the car out somewhere i can abuse it a little more to push the limits, but i'm almost wishing for some rain now so i can play with the lift-off oversteer. All in all, probably the best
