Low frequency boom in cabin on hatch

Featured Replies

Hi all

The one thing I don't like about my superb is the boom in the cabin at lower speeds on road imperfections. I've seen the threads on the same issue on the octavia but is this something others have experienced on the superb and how have you dealt with it? It's a very low frequency and I assume its vibration of the hatch door exciting the structure and/or air volume in the boot. Little bit like buffeting from a single opened window but probably a little lower in frequency.

First stop is to adjust the hatch bumper stops I suspect.

The first thread is one I posted in when I test drove a 280 years ago and spotted the same thing.... Clearly time made me forget 😁
