Picked mine up yesterday. Anyone know if the washer jets are heated?

It's part of the winter pack.

@Tishout - I ordered mine 14/12/2020.

Wing mirror doesn't dip in reverse like I expected it to.

I notice in the shop there's an ambient lighting pack. Any idea what it does when I can set it to any colour anyway?

I think the dip on reverse is in a sub menu somewhere.

Also think that’s part of Skoda’s new add on packages but appears the vrs comes with all the colours stock . So possibly just meant for the cars that have fewer colour options as standard

Looking at the manual dip on reverse comes with electric seats so the vRS doesn't have it. Happy to be corrected but I can't find it anywhere

im sure you have to have the electric seats and they store the memory, i could be wrong but seen a few say this

You can check here in this video. You go to Home -> Vehicle -> Exterior -> Mirrors

It looks like the car in this video has regular seats. At least it looks like it according to the video in the last couple of minutes.

I think you're correct

Just ordered a new vRS TSi manual hatchback in meteor grey with winter pack. Been told it’s build week 15 for me with delivery not until May 😫

Disappointed that there were no wheel options for the UK market as elsewhere in Europe have up to 6 options. It’s the one aspect of the car that I’ll probably change with an aftermarket option.

Jmagnee - First off I need to make it clear I'm speaking out of my arse as I don't own a mk4 so only going on instinct with this. Apologies if you're aware of the following:

I've driven two SEAT Atecas, one with electric seats the other without and neither had a dipping mirror. Neither had that option on infortainment. However other SEAT users were able to add the option using ODB11 software but be warned, the mirror never seemed to return to the same postion. The mirror had to be governed by a specific control module for it to dip consistantly. Basically they had to use another mirror motor from another VW Group vehicle to get the reverse dip to work properly.

If the option is already in your infotainment as per TheUltraRunner said, then my guess is the mirrors should dip on reverse. Even if that box is ticked, you still have to make sure the mirror switch is set to the passenger-side mirror for it to work.

I've had a look at the manual / brochure / price list.  Not saying it's the case in this instance, but people often get confused by an auto-dipping mirror and one which dips when you select reverse. Auto-dipping means that the headlights from the car behind don't dazzle - just like your interior rear-view mirror. It doesn't mean a motor physically dips your mirror.

I highlighted the above "and they store the memory" because there's no need for any memory. The mirror dips regardless of the position you already have the mirrors set when you select reverse.

Thanks Scot.

I do mean dip in reverse. Dealer expected it too as well and shown me how to do it in the infotainment on the be SEL they've got in the showroom. Definitely not an option on the vRS. Very odd.

you can programme where you want the mirror to dip, so yes it does need memory as i dint like how it was factory stored ao i changed it to how i want and its now saved as this, also it is called dipped mirrors as the one with headlights is called auto dimming mirrors

My build week was meant to be this week but has been delayed until the first week in February due to COVID.   Looks like it will be a March registration now.

Love it so far, not many pics due to weather, short days and lockdown. Few niggles primarily with infotainment but I think this will improve with software updates etc. I think it’s a great all rounder car
