OD Filter

Featured Replies

Okay, this probably a stupid question so please go easy on me, but on the invoice for my 2yr 20,000 mile service (1.5 Tsi dsg) there is mention of an oil filter at £7.51 and then an ‘OD Filter’ at £23.35 ex vat.

What is this OD Filter of which they speak please?

I'll take a guess at cabin/pollen filter. The O might stand for odour, not sure about the D.

That makes me more confident, as 819/820 are familiar digits to me from the middle of pollen filter part numbers in other VW group cars. If you google that part number all will be revealed, I think.

Maybe OD. is just an abbreviation of odour.
