Kodiaq rear fog light replacement

Featured Replies

Is it a straightforward job to replace the rear fog light bulb on a Kodiaq? Also what is the ref number for the replacement bulb please.

I'm pretty sure the rear fog light is LED on a Kodiaq so if it's gone, you'll need a new cluster as it's not a replaceable bulb.

Which side has gone? I ask as you only have one rear fog light which is on the drivers side so it's normal not to have one on the passenger side :)

I think if it’s an S or SE it may not since those don’t have the full led taillights iirc.

Thank you for the advice. It is the driver's side that's gone and was picked up when importing the car to Spain.

It's a Scout model

Just to confirm:

- it's a RHD/UK Kodiaq

- there are no working rear fog lights

- there is a warning on the dash saying it's faulty

The owners manuals I've skimmed over only mention replacing the rear indicator bulbs. I've not seen any reference to a replaceable halogen rear fog light I'm afraid

It's a LHD/French Kodiaq and yes there is a warning on the dash saying it's faulty. Thanks for your info:thumbup:

All I can suggest is taking the rear clusters out and having a look to see if there is an obvious fog light bulb.

Instructions are in the owners manual on page 308: https://ws.skoda-auto.com/OwnersManualService/Data/en/Kodiaq_NS/11-2017/Manual/Kodiaq/A_SUV_Kodiaq_OwnersManual.pdf

If it is a bulb, it would be good to confirm it as other people may find it helpful :)

if there isn't a bulb, then it may be an LED on the inner section but I'm not sure how you'd remove that. Maybe another Kodiaq owner can help.

I'll give that a go and report back.
