Another 3 points on my license

Featured Replies

In April 2003 I got 3 points on my license that expired about 3 weeks ago :).

Unfortunately today I got another 3 points on my license for doing 41 in a 30 (SP30). Completely my own fault and I hold my hands up and apologised to the Officer who booked me.

My only gripe about the entire thing would be that I was at the 1st car in a convey of cars, so I get the points whilst every other car drove by the Officer also doing 40, but sicne I was the 1st car the radar got me . Having said that I do realise that just because I was holding up others doesn't give me the right to speed on a public road where children could be out playing.

Bad luck :(

Let the idiot it the paxo overtake you next time!

Then you'll have the last laugh.

Bad luck though:- there but for the grace etc etc:thumbdwn:

happy may day..

Bad luck Hellfire, obviously the police and there camera vans were out in force over the May Day Bank Holiday Weekend See my own earlier thread). What a shame they are not spending revenue on catching the real criminals, but guess its a nice little earner for the government, and the worst part is their spin, saying they are making driving safer for everyone.

I like to have a car in front of me doing a similar speed to spring the speed traps. Went to Sheffield this weekend and on the way there used a Porsche 911 and later a Seat Leon Cupra.

Also found out this weekend my Octavia corners better than my mates Golf GT TDI, he has got 80k extra on the clocks over my 15k though.

Justice moves swift for hapless drivers.

You could try something that has a much lower conviction rate, like rape for example (down to <10% in some places now)

For those of you with a irony bypass that was a joke, not flamebate.
