2015 VRS petrol estate - market value/ worth?

Featured Replies

Evening all - I’m looking to move on my vRS, but I have no idea what the market’s like for secondhand stuff currently

it’s a 2015 Octy estate, manual, petrol, Black Pack, <38,000 miles, 19s, in black, with full dealer history, new MOT (no advisories), one previous owner.

Anyone with knowledge / best guess then fire away otherwise I wish you well and have a great Christmas.

*If this is the wrong place then apologies and Mods please move!*

Merry Xmas to you and your family. Dealers asking from £11,600 for cars with 55,000 miles up to £14,100 for a low mileage example with 20,000 miles. Private sale would probably be £12,000 and a dealer would ask £13,000 for your car.

Great - that’s really helpful, thanks

Worth pointing out that's a very early 230 'special edition', only the very first ones came through with no roof rails.

Unsure if it adds much to the value but it does make it more desirable as it will have the 'better' diff, and electric seats IIRC?

I’ve no idea, TBH, but that’s interesting to know - thanks v much.

If not financed it might be better to part ex it rather than sell privately. You can haggle more money from dealers as they want your business.

Thanks dude - no finance - I’m only selling it to fund an e-bike. Not much chance of a part/ex there!

Looks nice on the outside! If it was DSG I would offer to buy it!  Wife won't drive manuals anymore..... One thing I've noticed lately is there is quite a small supply of mk3 vRS Petrol Estates listed privately.  Most are dealers.  And the prices can be £14k at that sort of milage.  I wouldn't be surprised if you got near that, maybe £13k, even privately if the right buyer is out there....
