Hey everyone.

 

My friend got a new 2016 Superb with head unit P/N 5Q0-035-840-A. He got the small screen (I think it's 5.8") with the huge bezels.

It has AppConnect so I assume it's MIB2.

 

Coming from a Golf, I know the screen be replaced with the newer screens plug and play, but not sure about how it works with Skodas.

 

If anyone can confirm it'd be awesome.

It’s the 6.5 inch screen there. You can plug and play the PFL or FL 8 inch screens.

Coming from VW & Audi, I'm not super familiar with Skoda. What is the difference between the PFL and FL 8 inch screens?

Looking online, I can see some screens have physical buttons while the newer ones don't. 

 

Isn't there also a 9.2" inch screen, similar to the Golf & Octavia, in the Superb?

 

What is the most "recommended" part number for this head unit, or all will work? ETKA lists at-least 5 variations. 

One is like the car has but a bigger display with soft keys and the other is all glass without physical buttons.
